STATEMENT OF FAITH

HOLY BIBLE
The Holy Bible alone is the infallible, inspired Word of God and, as such, is fully reliable and relevant to our lives today. Therefore, it cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard.

2 Timothy 3:16 | 2 Peter 1:20-21 | Revelation 22:18-19 | Matthew 5:17-18

TRINITY
There is one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is compassionate, loving, and completely holy.

Genesis 1:26 | Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19 | John 14:16-17 | 2 Corinthians 13:14

JESUS CHRIST
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead, and ascended to heaven. He is the Son of God.

Isaiah 7:14 | Luke 1:35 | Matthew 1:18-21 | John 14:6 | 1 Timothy 2:5

SALVATION
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus and not by works. People must repent of their sins, place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as payment for their sins, and confess Him as Lord of their life.

John 3:16 | Ephesians 2:8-9 | Titus 3:5-7 | Romans 10:9-10 | Acts 16:31

WATER BAPTISM
Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19 | Mark 16:16 | Acts 2:38; 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48; 16:33

SANCTIFICATION
The ongoing process of yielding to the Holy Spirit and God's Word to become more like Jesus. It is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.

1 Thessalonians 4:3; 5:23 | 2 Corinthians 3:18 | 2 Thessalonians 2:13 | Romans 12:1-2

RESURRECTION
Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved will be resurrected to be with God, and they that are lost will be resurrected to eternal separation from God.

John 11:25-36; 14:1-3 | 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 | 1 Peter 1:3 | Acts 26:23 | Romans 6:9
